UniZulu entry requirement:      

To apply to the University of Zululand (UniZulu), you'll need to meet the general admission requirements. Here's what you need: 

- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification 

- A minimum Admission Point Score (APS) that varies by course 

- Required school subjects, such as Mathematics, English, Physical Sciences, or Life Sciences 

- Some programs may require additional selection processes, like interviews or assessments 

The APS is calculated using your NSC results, with points assigned to each percentage range: 

- 80-100%: 7 points 

- 70-79%: 6 points 

- 60-69%: 5 points 

- 50-59%: 4 points 

- 40-49%: 3 points 

- 30-39%: 2 points 

- 0-29%: 1 point

Here's the step-by-step application process for University of Zululand (UniZulu) through the Central Applications Office (CAO) for 2027 

1. Create a CAO account: Visit (HERE) and click "Apply Now". You'll need a valid email address and South African ID number (or passport for international students). 

2. Complete personal information: Fill in your details, contact info, and educational background. 

3. Choose institutions and courses: Select UniZulu and up to 6 courses, ordered by preference. 

4. Upload required documents: Prepare and upload certified copies of: 

    - ID document/passport 

    - Grade 11 results 

    - Grade 12 certificate (if applicable) 

    - Proof of payment for application fee 

5. Pay application fee: R250 for SA citizens (R300 for international)

1. KwaDlangezwa Campus (Main Campus)
