• Certified ID Copy
• Certified Matric statement
• Certified Matric certificate
• Grade 11 results (if still in grade 12)

VUT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Before applying to Vaal University of Technology (VUT) for the 2027 academic year, it’s important to understand the eligibility requirements to ensure your application stands the best chance of success. VUT looks for students who have completed their National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an equivalent qualification with the necessary passes in key subjects relevant to their chosen field of study. The Application fee for Vaal University of Technology is R110 for all applicants .

• You must pay before your application is considered
• Use your ID number( SA students) or passport number ( international students) as the payment reference.

VUT 2027 ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. Choose your course

• Go through available programmes
• Select 1st and 2nd choice (important) 

2. Check requirements

• Make sure you meet the APS score + subject requirements for your course
• Each course has different criteria 

3. Prepare your documents

You’ll need:

• ID or passport
• Grade 11 / Grade 12 results
• Proof of payment (application fee)
• Academic record (if transferring) 

4. Apply online

• Go to the official VUT website
• Click “Apply Online”
• Create an account (email + password)
• Fill in:

5. Upload documents

6. Pay application fee

• Pay R110
