University of the Witwatersrand 2027 Applications Now Open: Your Complete Guide to Applying

 WITS required documents-2025 

° ID copy (certified) 

° Senior Certificate/ National senior certificate or equivalent ( certified copy) 

°Grade 11 report ( certified) if you're currently in matric 

 NB: Submission of this documents is compulsory failure to submit this documents will lead your application not being considered. 

Applicants must meet the entry requirements of university of Witwatersrand-2027 Applications. 

Before starting your application process, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the requirements. Wits has strict criteria for admission into its programs, and meeting these requirements is crucial to your acceptance. For undergraduate programs, applicants need to have completed their National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent with an APS (Admission Point Score) of at least 32 points. They must also meet specific subject requirements for their chosen program. 

For postgraduate programs, applicants are required to have completed a relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum average of 65%. However, some programs may have specific requirements such as work experience or additional entrance exams. Note : that only one Matric upgrade/rewrite attempt is considered. Applicants upgrading/rewriting Matric subjects for a second time will be unsuccessful.

3. Login with your temporary ID and password 

4. Complete your online application 

5. Upload supporting documents 

6. Submit your application

All the applicants must pay the non-refundable Application fee to have their application  considered they must pay before the closing date.
