Don't stress, download the TUT Prospectus for the next academic year to see if you qualify or not. Tip: Don't focus on your aps alone. Do check the subject requirements as well.  

3.Required Documents and Supporting Materials 

When preparing your application for TUT 2026, it's crucial to gather all the required documents and supporting materials to ensure a smooth submission process. TUT required documents: Tshwane University of Technology requires the following documents.
°  ID copy (certified)
°Matric certificate (certified) or 
°Matric statement ( certified)
° Grade 11 report certified ( if in matric)
° Grade 12 June report certified ( if in matric ) 

Application Fee:
You need to pay an application fee of R240 for your application to be considered at TUT. Good news is, you can apply and pay an application fee later but if you have not paid the fee yet, your application will not be processed. Once you have paid upload the slip to the TUT student portal. Tip: Keep the slip safe for future references. 

4.How to apply at TUT for 2025 

Applications to study at TUT for the 2026 academic year are submitted online. We have detailed every steps that you should take to apply online at Tshwane University of Technology.
• Visit TUT website: TUT website
• Click on the "Apply Now" tab
• Agree to application rules and proceed.
• Enter your biographical information and move to the next step.
• Enter academic results (including subjects) and proceed.
• Provide educational institution details and proceed.
• Choose your program choices (up to 2) using "Add Qualification" and proceed.
• Review your application and confirm details.
• Create a 5-digit PIN, accept terms, and submit your application.
• Upload all required documents.
• For each document: Click "Load/View Document" -> "Upload Document" -> locate and select your file -> "Save".
• Once uploaded, click "Complete Upload".
• Confirmation Page: Your application is complete!


5. TUT closing date 

The closing date is on the 30th of September 2025 , be sure to have your application submitted by this date. Late submissions can jeopardize your chances of securing a spot, so plan ahead.
